ગુજરાત શૈક્ષણિક સંશોધન અને તાલીમ પરિષદ – ગાંધીનગર દ્વારા તૈયાર કરેલ.

              રાજ્યમાં પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણમાં નવા અભ્યાસક્રમ અને પાઠ્યક્રમના અમલીકરણ બાદ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સ્વ-અધ્યયન કરતા થાય તેમજ જ્ઞાનના સર્જક બની રહે તેવા નૂતન અભિગમ સ્વીકારવામાં આવ્યા છે. આ માટે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને બહુવિધ રીતે તૈયાર કરવાની જવાબદારી પણ શિક્ષણ ક્ષેત્રના સર્વે પૂરાવાહકોની બની રહે છે. વિદ્યાર્થી સ્વ-અધ્યયન કરતા થાય તેઓની શીખેલી બાબતોનું પુનરાવર્તન થાય, તેનું આદર્શ મૂલ્યાંકન થાય, જરૂરિયાત અનુસાર ઉપચારાત્મક શિક્ષણ માટે મુદ્દાઓ નિર્ધારિત થાય, આવશ્યકતા અનુસાર વિદ્યાર્થીને વ્યક્તિગત રીતે માર્ગદર્શન આપી શકાય એવા બહુવિધ લક્ષ્યો સાથે પાઠયપુસ્તકને પૂરક એવી આ સ્વ-અધ્યયનપોથી તૈયાર કરવામાં આવી છે.

               અધ્યયન નિષ્પત્તિ આધારિત પાઠયકમ અને પ્રવૃત્તિઓમાં અહીં સમાવવામાં આવેલી સામગ્રી પૂરક બની રહે તેવો પ્રયત્ન કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. રાજ્યમાં સ્વીકારવામાં આવેલ શાળાકીય સર્વગ્રાહી મૂલ્યાંકન (SCE)ની પ્રક્રિયા કરવા માટે તેમજ વિદ્યાર્થીઓના વિકાસને યોગ્ય રીતે મૂલવવા માટે શિક્ષકોને પણ સ્વ-અધ્યયનપોથી સહાયક બની રહેશે.

               રાઇટ ટુ ઍજ્યુકેશન એક્ટ 2009ના અમુલ બાદ વિદ્યાર્થીઓના પાઠ્યક્રમ અને મૂલ્યાંકનના ઉપકરણો આગવી રીતે વિચારવાની જરૂર ઊભી થઈ છે. તેમજ એન.સી.એફ.2005માં દર્શાવેલ વિવિધ સૂચનો ધ્યાનમાં લેતા વિદ્યાર્થી દરેક વિષયમાં ઉત્કૃષ્ટ બને તે પણ ધ્યાનમાં રાખવાનું છે. સ્વ-અધ્યયનપોથી તૈયારી કરનારે ઉપરોક્ત બાબતોને પૂર્ણ રીતે લક્ષમાં લીધેલી છે.

               After the implementation of new curriculum and syllabus in primary education in the state, new approaches have been adopted for students to do self-study as well as remain creators of knowledge. For this, the responsibility of preparing the students in multiple ways also remains with the survey providers of the education sector. This self-study textbook is designed to complement the textbook with multiple objectives that allow students to self-study, repeat what they have learned, evaluate ideally, determine issues for remedial learning as needed, and guide students individually as needed.

               Attempts have been made to supplement the material included here in the study outcome-based curriculum and activities. Self-study textbooks will also be helpful to teachers to process the state-accepted school holistic assessment (SCE) as well as to properly assess student development.

               Following the enactment of the Right to Education Act 2009, there is a need to think critically about students’ curriculum and assessment tools. It is also important to keep in mind that the student excels in every subject considering the various suggestions given in NCF 2005.
